The Oklahoma City Thunder is the biggest revelation of this NBA season after the great performances they had before and after the suspension. Billy Donovan and his pupils have done an impressive job this campaign and the final outcome of that is finishing the regular season as the 4th seed in the Western Conference.

This gets another dimension when you consider the fact that ESPN gave them 0.2% chances of making the postseason. This team wasn't even considered to be at least an 8th seed this season and now they are part of the top 4 in their conference.

You have to give some respect to them and the job they've carried out so far. With a 44-27 record, they rank 4th in the Western Conference, ahead of the Houston Rockets, the team that shipped Paul to OKC last summer in exchange for Russell Westbrook.

Well, they had a very entertaining offseason and that is paying off right now. One of the most impressive proves of that was the 105-86 victory of the Los Angeles Lakers last week, as well as their most recent victory over the Miami Heat, 116-115.

They had the last laugh and CP3 made sure to call out ESPN for their predictions, stating that this team is far from done now.

“We’re just gonna keep building,” Paul said last Wednesday after beating the Lakers in the bubble, via OKC Thunder Wire.

“Nobody expected us to be here.

“0.2… 0.2%, 0.2%,” he said, with a chuckle.

They have come a long way and the job is not finished. Now they're ready to face the Houston Rockets of James Harden and Russell Westbrook in one of the most emotional series of the first round.
