When LeBron james moved west, the Eastern Conference breathed a sigh of releif.
For 8 straight seasons, he had dominated the conference, making the Finals and winning three total Championships before signing with the Lakers last summer.
Interestingly enough, there is actually only one East team that James has not beaten in his 15-year career: the Orlando Magic (as pointed out by Reddit user dev1359).
All twelve of the other franchises that he never played for were eliminated by him from the playoffs at some point in his career.
He eliminated the Wizards in 2006, 2007, 2008
Eliminated the Nets in 2007, 2014
Eliminated the Pistons in 2007, 2009, 2016
Eliminated the Hawks in 2009, 2015, 2016
Eliminated the Bulls in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015
Eliminated the Sixers in 2011
Eliminated the Celtics in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018
Eliminated the Knicks in 2012
Eliminated the Pacers in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018
Eliminated the Bucks in 2013
Eliminated the Bobcats (now Hornets) in 2014
Eliminated the Raptors in 2016, 2017, 2018
LeBron ran to the West because he knew the Magic would make the playoffs again, confirmed.
It's only coincidence that the Magic make the playoffs again the same year LeBron heads West. It is unlikely he will get the chance to face them again, either.
Still, both Orlando and LeBron have a long way to go before truly becoming contenders in the league. Funnily and unexpectedly, the Magic may be closer to that feat right now.
