These Teams Are Favorites To Land LeBron Next Season

Even though the past NBA season only finished a few days ago, that doesn't mean that we're going to be starved of basketball content for the next 5 months. In fact, given how last season played out -- predictably if you were wondering -- the upcoming offseason may prove to be more entertaining,

As soon as the final buzzer sounded in Game 4 of the NBA Finals and the Golden State Warriors completed their sweep of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, betting agencies in Las Vegas were already in the middle of number-crunching, trying to figure out exactly where LeBron would be headed this summer to play next season.

Given the fact that James and the Cavs have lost in 4 and 5 games these past two Finals series after the Warriors acquired Kevin Durant, and with the way Cleveland's future is looking in terms of roster flexibility, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the four-time MVP leave his home state for the second time in search of another title.

As many expected, the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets are leading the race for James' services, with the Philadelphia 76ers having the same odds as the Cavs of nabbing LeBron.

The Celtics, Spurs, Warriors, Clippers and Heat make up the other 5 teams in contention for LBJ, albeit unlikely they'll manage to sign him.
