As NBA team continue to get tested for Coronavirus, new names keep emerging on the infected list.
Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Christian Wood, and Kevin Durant are all known to have tested positive for COVID-19. And while 3 other Nets players are also confirmed to have the virus, their names have yet to be released, much to the delight of Sixers forward, Tobias Haris.
In a mini-Twitter rant, he shares his thoughts on how the NBA should have kept the names private from the beginning.
It's certainly understandable why Harris and other stars would want the NBA to keep the names of infected players private, but some would argue that any fans who interacted with league players deserve to know which one of them is positive for their own sake.
Unfortunately, this is a public health crisis, and the need to keep people safe and healthy often outweighs the need for "privacy."
It's a complicated situation that is affecting the lives of every American. With time, there is no doubt we will recover -- but how much longer we will have to endure this pandemic is still, very much, up in the air.
