Tracy McGrady Says Carmelo Anthony Should Retire And Save His Career

anthony-carmelo

Ok, we have to be very honest with Carmelo Anthony at this moment.

He has a great career, he was one of the best scorers in the league for more than 10 years, he was NCAA Champion and he won 3 Gold Olympic Medals with the USA.

Carmelo is probably in the top 5 best players in Denver Nuggets and top 10 in New York Knicks history, and when we talk about isolation play, he is probably in the top 10 in NBA history.

With 24.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game, he won one NBA Scoring Award (2013), he was 10 times NBA All-Star but he was never earned an All-NBA First Team.

Just a few months ago, we wrote the list of 50 NBA players who are currently better than Carmelo Anthony. He was traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder, he was waived by the Atlanta Hawks, he was a bench player on Houston Rockets and now he doesn't even play anymore.

NBA Legend, Tracy McGrady has his point, because he retired at 34, the same age Melo is now and he knows when is the best time to fnish career.

Yes, that is maybe too early for Carmelo Anthony and maybe he thinks that he can still play in the NBA (I believe that he can play, but as a role player, off the bench), so let’s take a look at the 5 teams where he could actually be useful before deciding to retire.
