Nobody is safe from internet trolls right now and Trae Young has been the last player to sign their name on the list of hacked NBA stars. The Atlanta Hawks guard was the victim of hackers who hijacked his Twitter account and started sending some crazy tweets.
Trae could recover his account and sent his apologies to whoever felt offended by his tweets.
Fortunately, everything came back to normal but the internet doesn't forget. They went to troll the hacker for posting just regular stuff instead of talking about basketball and make people believe Young was calling out people or demanding something from his team.
Trae and the Hawks had a terrible season, ranking 14th in the East and not even getting invited to the bubble last July. Regardless of how talented he is, Young has struggled to take his team to compete in the 'weaker' conference in the NBA. He needs proper help to take his squad to the next level.
This season, he recorded 29.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game while shooting 43.7 percent from the field, 36.1 percent from beyond the arc and 86.0 percent from the free-throw line.
