Fadeaway World

Devin Booker hit a big shot in front of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard on Tuesday to give the Phoenix Suns a very important victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, 117-115. Booker had a terrific game and formidable 4th quarter, sinking clutch shots after clutch shots.

In the end, he called game with a great shot that reminded people of the ones Kobe Bryant used to take and make. The Suns are still undefeated in the Orlando bubble after three games, have beaten great rivals and Booker keeps demonstrating he is clutch. Moreover, that game-winning shot was the third for Booker in his career, tying LeBron James' record since 2015.

Since he entered the league in 2015, Booker has made three game-winning buzzer-beaters, the same as Bron, sharing the record with the King since that date. Book also tied Walter Davis for the most game-winning buzzer-beaters in Suns history.

This kid is ready to take another step and take this team to the next level. The front office needs to do something to bring some help but they already know Booker is all in to lead this team to play for meaningful things.

Booker is averaging 30.6 points, 5.3 assist and 4.0 rebounds per game in the bubble, and now Phoenix is three games away from the 8th seed, which still belongs to the Memphis Grizzlies. It's a long shot right now, but Booker seems inspired. It remains to be seen if that will be enough to clinch that playoff spot.
