Tyronn Lue hilariously forgot who the Los Angeles Clippers landed in exchange for Landry Shamet. During a Zoom video call, the new Clippers head coach was talking about Shamet, praising him for all the things he gave to the team but at some point, he forgot the name of the guy the Clips received in exchange for the 23-year-old.

In case you don't know, the Clippers sent Shamet to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team trade with the Detroit Pistons. They received Luke Kennard from the Pistons but Lue doesn't seem to be used to that yet.

"Losing Sham was huge for us. We had a great guy, a young talent that could shoot the basketball, that was tough for us but we got a good player in... Uhm..." Lue said before exclaiming 'hello' as if he wasn't seeing the journalist he was talking to.

It took a few attempts to get things back on track but the coach eventually could do it and they continued the interview, talking about Kennard and praising him, too. Well, these things happen, Ty, but for you was in the worst possible moment. Hopefully, he won't forget to use Kennard during the season.

After Doc Rivers was fired, the Clippers hired Lue as his replacement and the young coach has big expectations entering the 2020/21 NBA season. The Los Angelenos team has a big responsibility after the fiasco they lived in the bubble and Lue is well aware of that.
