When Kobe Bryant Literally Faked Kevin Durant Out Of His Shoes: "Oh! What A Move On Kevin Durant!"

During his prime, Kobe Bryant was unarguably the best scorer in the league. There was hardly anyone who could have argued about it. However, towards the end of his career, Kevin Durant took the mantle from Kobe.

The Slim Reaper has truly succeeded Kobe in terms of being the best scorer in the league and there are only a few who come close. But a few years ago when the two superstars faced off against each other, Durant was kind of embarrassed by Bryant on the court.

Kobe crossed over KD and hit his signature mid-range jumper over him. Sounds normal? No, if you look closely, Kobe's move literally had Durant off the floor and got him fooled. It was such a smooth move; the commentators were left in awe. You can watch the full video below.

While Kobe got the better of a young Durant here, we never saw the two stars compete against each other in the NBA playoffs. It is one of the greatest what-if fixtures that fans can think of.

Well, that fixture might not have happened, but Kevin Durant is still going strong in the league. He now plays for the Brooklyn Nets and is the leader of one of the best teams in the league.

This season, Nets fans have high expectations from their superstar and hope he can lead them to the organization's first-ever NBA finals victory.

Speaking of the dream matchup for the upcoming season, it has to be between the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets. While there are many potential NBA finals matchups, the battle between the two premier super teams of the league would make go fans crazy.

After all, it would be a LeBron James vs Kevin Durant matchup. The two players have played against each other previously as well, but fans can never get enough of their battles.

What are your predictions for this year's NBA finals? Do you think the Brooklyn Nets or the Los Angeles Lakers can go all the way? Or will it be some other team? Let us know your views in the comments section below.
