Zion Williamson put on a show in his highly-anticipated debut against the Spurs, going off for 22 points on 4-4 shooting from beyond the arc.

In light of his statement performance, Williamson spoke to the media about some of the doubts, questions, and criticisms about his game and size to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

“There’s really no comparison to me. I try to add every level to my game,” said Williamson, who went 4-of-4 on 3-pointers during his Wednesday debut. “My body is just built different. Some people try to look at it as a weakness, but I look at it as a blessing.

“People aren’t used to guarding this kind of size and I’m able to add a little finesse to my game so it has flavor and I’m a playmaker so I can create for my teammates and when I have to finish I’m gonna finish.”

For Zion, his weight is not a curse -- it's a tool. His unique size gives him an edge, in his mind, that separates him from other players. And while many criticize him for being "overweight," Zion didn't seem to be affected too much by it in his debut.

It'll be interesting to see how his game develops over time.
