NBA free agency has been a whirlwind so far, resulting in (perhaps) the biggest free agency period of All-Time. Among the signings, however, was a trade that could shake things in the league for the long-haul.
In a breaking report by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Miami Heat are trading Hassan Whiteside to the Blazers for Meyers Leonard and Mo Harkless.
Portland still has holes to fill on the roster, but they are making it a point to make some moves this summer.
The Heat were able to rid themselves of Whiteside's overpriced contract in an effort to make room for Jimmy Butler's arrival. Young center Bam Adebayo will likely take his spot in the rotation.
As for Portland, you can expect they will continue to make moves to improve their standing in the Western Conference.
