being tied for the best record in the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks are constantly looking for ways to make their team better.
As coach Budenholzer and Giannis Antetokounmmpo tweak their gameplan on the court to perfection, team GM Jon Horst and the front office are looking for some ways to get outside help. And, according to Zach Lowe, speaking on the Woj & Lowe Trade Deadline Special, Milwaukee won't be shy in their pursuit of perimeter threats, including guys like J.J. Redick and Robert Covington.
Of course, it's no secret that the Bucks are built around bonafide superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who dominates at finishing around the rim. With his drives being the focal point of their offense, it leaves open a lot of shooters on the perimeter.
So, the math is pretty simple for Milwaukee: get more shooters.
As a career-41% shooter from downtown, they can certainly do a whole lot worse than J.J., who has never missed a postseason appearance in his 13-year career.
Alongside Giannis and the Bucks, that streak should be just fine. But something says they're going to be playing for a lot more than some Redick streak...
