One of the Los Angeles Lakers’ main targets in this offseason is the New Orleans’ star big man, Anthony Davis who requested a trade earlier this season.
The Lakers are willing to give up almost anyone in order to strike a deal with the Pelicans for their All-Star center. However, the Lakers are reportedly hesitant about including Kyle Kuzma in the deal for Davis as New Orleans continue insisting on Kuzma being apart of the deal. It’s more than likely that Kuzma will be traded if that’s what it takes to turn Anthony Davis into a Laker.
Former Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson has taken to Twitter with a message for Kuzma, “start packing yo bags bro lmao."

According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Lakers have already offered Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and the fourth overall pick of the 2019 Draft as potential trade options. The Draft pick may be essential with the Pelicans already owning the first overall pick in the draft, it may be what helps turn the franchise to become a powerhouse team for the future.
The deal may not be done without Kyle Kuzma, Tania Ganguli and Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reported that the deal will hinge on the willingness of the franchise to give up the young up-coming star.
Trade talks will continue as both franchises seem very intrigued in finding a good offer that would suit both teams.
