The world practically gave up on Chris Paul following his subpar performance in 2019. Having finished a disappointing season with the Rockets, he was blamed and subsequently exiled to Oklahoma City in favor of the younger and more athletic Russell Westbrook.

But CP3 has made the most of his time with the Thunder and even before the hiatus went into effect in early March, it was clear that he wasn't yet done being one of the NBA's most elite guards.

One team that should make special note of Paul's performance are the Milwaukee Bucks, who might just be one or two pieces away from securing an NBA title. With Paul, the Bucks would secure a deep and talented backcourt with sharpshooter Khris Middleton. Paul would help set Giannis up on the offensive end and provide easier opportunities under the rim.

In exchange for the star point guard, the Bucks could offer something along the lines of Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, Ersan Ilyasova, Donte DiVincenzo, and multiple future first-round picks.

It's not a game-changing move for OKC, but the absence of Paul's contract frees up significant cap space and may give more room for guys like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Dennis Schroder to blossom.

This season, in his resurgence, Paul is averaging 17.7 points, 6.8 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game on 48% shooting. Over his 15-year career, he's also a 10x All-Star, 8x All-NBA Player, and 9x All-Defensive Player.
