Bradley Beal has had enough of the Washington Wizards.
According to ESPN's Chris Sheridan, the talented shooting guard is making his desire to leave no mystery.
After several seasons of mediocre performances, this trade request isn't shocking news at all once the Wizards fell into turmoil this season as well. In just the first month, there's been locker room infighting between John Wall and Scott Brooks, trade rumors flying about literally almost every player on the roster, and a Dwight Howard sex scandal that has yet to be resolved.
Couple all of that with an abysmal 7-12 record, and it's clear that the time for change has arrived.
One way or another, Beal has decided he wants no part in it.
As far as where he might end up, assuming a trade before the deadline is almost a guarantee, a number of teams stand out as the best destinations. Charlotte, Boston, and even Milwaukee have enough will-power and assets to make the trade.
More specifically, the Lakers, in particular, might be the perfect fit. L.A. could give up something like Lonzo Ball or Kyle Kuzma, along with Josh Hart and a 2nd round pick, in exchange for Beal, who'd be a near flawless fit for LeBron James.
With the trade deadline clock ticking, and the Wizards in no position to keep waiting, we can expect something big to happen within these next couple of weeks.
