With the Cavs headed towards the Eastern Conference bunker, it seems they have finally begun listening to offers for their esteemed star big man. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Cleveland is fielding interest for Kevin Love.
"One player that a lot of teams have on their radar [is] Kevin Love in Cleveland," Wojnarowski said on SportsCenter. "He's signed for another three years and there are a lot of teams, especially in the West, who would like more size to get in that championship chase, and I'm told that Cleveland is ready now to listen to offers on Kevin Love... If somebody blows them away with an offer, this is a team clearly still in a rebuild. He's going to be a player very much in demand, and I think there's going to be a lot of conversations between Cleveland and teams all over the league about Love."
At 31-years-old, it was only a matter of time until the Cavs moved on from Love. Their timelines don't match, and a package of young players/picks are no doubt more useful for a rebuilding Cleveland team right now.
Potential suitors include Phoenix, Portland, and Boston. Expect them to be most aggressive in the pursuit of Love in the days and weeks to come.
