32-year-old Derrick Rose is long removed from his days as an MVP in Chicago. After a string of injuries and rehab, his most recent stop has him in Detroit, as a backup point guard for the Pistons.

Despite the difficulties he is facing this year, the 3x All-Star might be on the verge of his next adventure.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, multiple teams are expressing interest in Rose, including the Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks.

New York and the Clippers are among interested teams in Pistons guard Derrick Rose, sources said. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau has a long history with Rose, coaching the former league MVP in Chicago and Minnesota.

For New York, their new head coach Tom Thibodeau has ties to the Pistons guard. When Rose was at the height of his career, it was Thibs who served as his coach with the Bulls, where they found a respectable level of success in the East.

In Los Angeles, the Clippers are looking for some help in the backcourt, and Rose could be the answer they've been hoping for. As a premier playmaker and scorer, he'd help boost the offense and relieve some pressure from Kawhi and PG.

While Rose's future is still very much in doubt, there is still a whole lot left in the tank for him, and it might not be long before he's suiting up and competing with another team.
