In his third year in the NBA, it's no secret that 24-year-old Kyle Kuzma is struggling to prove himself as a third option for the Lakers.

Averaging lows in points (12.2), rebounds (3.6), and field-goal percentage (42%), Kuz is not meeting the expectations placed on him to start this season.

As a result, his name has been the subject of trade rumors, with reports indicating that teams are already beginning to gauge his availability on the trade market.

Clearly, L.A. has no plans to trade their young star, even despite his struggles. And why should they?

They have been dominant on both ends of the floor this season, boasting the West's best record at 27-7. Kuzma, if he can get going, brings much-needed fire-power off the bench for the club, and is a great isolation scorer.

Obviously, at 24-years-old, he's a guy almost every team in the league would like to take a chance on. He has yet to reach his ceiling.

It will be interetsing to see how his future with the Lakers plays out this season in in the next few to come...
