It's been the talk throughout the NBA for weeks: the Lakers want Anthony Davis. He'd make them better, he'd make them flashier, and they would presumably have the assets to get him.
The only problem is, the team has been reluctant in giving those assets up. Ingram, Kuzma, Lonzo, Hart -- the team has been all-in with keeping these guys for the future. Though, if it means anything, LeBron James sure is sure as heck ready for the team to make a move.
In a report by ESPN's Brian Windhorst, LeBron wouldn't mind at least talking about making a deal for the All-Star big man.
It has long been speculated that the Lakers and Davis were an inevitable pairing. The Brow, no doubt, is ready to win, and the Pelicans are not the team to fulfill that goal. Thus insert the Lakers, who (with LeBron James) would provide the perfect scenario for Anthony Davis.
But now that LeBron has shown a clear interest in the acquisition of Davis, maybe it'll incentivize the Lakers to finally give up something to get him.
