Hours before 2019 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns are giving up their rights to a top 10 pick to the Timberwolves for Dario Saric in a report by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Obviously, the Suns value Saric as a relatively high-value asset, and one that can fill out their weak frontcourt. But to give up the 6th pick (and a chance at some promising prospects) to get him is a move many are questioning.
As for Minnesota, their attempts to move up in the draft were being thwarted until this deal with Phoenix. Who they might select at #6 is still a mystery, but they have the chance to find another young gem to pair alongside Karl-Anthony Towns.
