The Oklahoma City Thunder have been quite surprising so far, as nobody even expected them to be in the mix for a playoff spot despite trading away Paul George and Russell Westbrook.

However, Billy Donovan's team is currently sitting at the 7th spot of the Western Conference with a 23-17 record and an intriguing couple of players.

Still, it feels like this team is looking forward to a rebuild and thus, all of their players are up for grabs at the right price. But, who would they trade? and where should they go? Let's take a look at the most realistic trade destinations for them:

Dennis Schroder - Los Angeles Lakers

Dennis Schroder

The Los Angeles Lakers are the best team in the Western Conference and there's little they could do to improve their roster. However, it's clear that they need another playmaker and ballhandler and Dennis Schroder would be perfect.

Perhaps Schroder isn't the shooter they need, but he's another guy that could come off the bench or take some pressure off of LeBron James' shoulders by running the offense. In order to get him, they'd trade away Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Troy Daniels, and Quinn Cook.

Danilo Gallinari - Portland Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers have struggled all year to keep up with the rest of the pack in the Western Conference, but they could still put together a nice run and clinch a playoff berth as the kind of low seed no one wants to see in the playoffs.

Gallinari has been playing at a high level and has managed to stay healthy this season, so they could pursue him in return for a package involving Kent Bazemore, Zach Collins and a 2nd round pick.

Steven Adams - Atlanta Hawks

Steven Adams' name has been tossed around trade rumors for quite some time now. However, the New Zealand native continues to prove his worth with the Thunder. Still, that doesn't mean they won't trade him at the right price.

The Atlanta Hawks have been active in trade talks for a rim-protecting big man and Steven Adams would be cheaper than other options such as Andre Drummond, as they could get him for Alex Len, Evan Turner, Kevin Huerter, and a protected 1st round pick.

Chris Paul - Milwaukee Bucks

Chris Paul has turned back the clock and is having one of the most efficient seasons of his career, proving that he can still contribute on a contending team and looking as healthy as he could despite his constant struggles with injuries.

The Milwaukee Bucks have the best record in the NBA, but even good things could be better. So, why not add a savvy veteran that could help them with his lockdown defense and top-notch playmaking? They could get him for Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, and Ersan Ilyasova.
