To the surprise of mostly everyone, Jimmy Butler still hasn't been traded, despite the season being just a week away.
He has informed the Wolves that his preferred destination is Miami, and the Heat would obviously be glad to have him. So what's the hold up?
Apparently, it's the absurd asking price from the Wolves for Butler...
Clearly, Minnesota isn't looking to be cheap. If other teams want Butler, they'll have to pay a steep price.
Thing is, with the season drawing closer, and leverage dropping by the day, the Wolves don't have forever to make a choice.
Evidently, they'll have to chose betwee making a less-than-ideal trade, or staying pat, and risk losing J.B. for nothing.
