The Bulls lost to the Lakers, 82-105, tonight at the Vegas Summer League. The game started with a strong showing from Caleb Wilson, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, before the Lakers stretched the lead to 16 points at halftime and cruised to victory from there.
At the end of the first half, Caleb Wilson got into it with Arthur Kaluma, a Lakers player who has played for their South Bay G League affiliate team since 2025.
A video of Wilson’s dismissive remarks directed at Kaluma has since gone viral on social media, showing what led to the players’ tempers eventually flaring and them needing to be separated.

Wilson may not actually know who Kaluma is, but these remarks at that point kind of came off as a bit condescending. Caleb Wilson had a strong showing in the first half, including a poster dunk over Cameron Carr that also left fans in disbelief on social media.

He finished the game by leading all scorers for the Bulls with 21 points, eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block. Wilson shot 7-15 from the floor (46.7 FG%) and 1-6 from beyond the arc (16.7 3P%).
But Arthur Kaluma and the Lakers got the last laugh as they came up with the win. Kaluma ended with 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists while shooting 3-8 from the field (37.5 FG%) and 2-5 from behind the three-point line (40.0 3P%).
The Lakers ended up keeping a 4-0 record in the Summer League and are the first team to secure their position in the semifinals.
Meanwhile, the Bulls have decided to call it a wrap for Wilson’s first Summer League experience. He will not be playing when the Bulls face the Cavaliers in their final Summer League game tomorrow night.
According to the Bulls, he ended the Summer League averaging 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game while shooting 50.0% from the field and 42.0% from three-point range.
Kevin Garnett, who was also in attendance at the game, was very impressed with Wilson’s performance and gave him a new nickname, ‘Little Ticket’, which is in reference to his own nickname ‘The Big Ticket’.
The NBA legend feels that there are many similarities in his game and Wilson’s game, because of which he gave him the nickname.
