At least every single NBA fan since 2003 has at some point in time compared both LeBron James and Kobe Bryant to each other to see who comes out on top. Even now, several years after Bryant has left the NBA, fans still find a way to compare the two against each other.
As of right now, it's pretty hard to compare the two legends of the game, as Kobe played 20 years in the NBA before retiring, while LeBron is currently in his 15th year, meaning he still has five seasons left until we can fairly compare the pair's accolades and accomplishments.
Still, that fact hasn't stopped Reddit user The_NA_Deft from doing exactly that.
With LeBron's impressive Game 7 performance against the Indiana Pacers now in the books, The_NA_Deft decided to compare both James' and Bryant's stats in playoff elimination games, and the stats are pretty telling.
As you can see, even though Kobe is considered one of the most clutch players in league history based on his numerous game-winners over his career, when it comes to facing elimination in the playoffs, LeBron -- who "isn't clutch" -- has him soundly beat in almost every category other than turnovers.
And if you want to bring up the discussion over who actually won more elimination games? LeBron has Kobe beat there as well. LeBron is 12-9, while Kobe is 8-11.
Then again, does LeBron have five rings to his name? Not yet at least.
