Fanatics Fest 2026 was held at the Javits Center in New York City from July 16 to July 19, 2026, and a host of big names from the sports world were present. Fans attending the convention could also get pictures with some of these celebrities, but it wasn’t going to be cheap. Front Office Sports shared some numbers, and they’re eye-catching.

It’s unclear how exactly these numbers were decided. You’d reckon it’s not just the athletes and that Fanatics played a part. Whatever the case may be, fans weren’t too happy when they found out about this.
“Cost for a photo? That’s insane,” one fan can’t believe you have to fork out this much for a picture.
“This is the saddest s*** I think I’ve ever seen,” a fan kept it real.
“Why is anyone paying to take a photo? What am I missing?” one can’t understand why anyone would pay for a picture.
“Every single one of these is ridiculous. If you’re gonna charge, it should be a $100 ceiling, but it shouldn’t cost anywhere near that in the first place (but surprise surprise, Fanatics),” a fan believes there should have been a cap on prices.
“1k for a pic is f***ing insane and so stupid,” one fan thinks the price for a picture with Jalen Brunson is ridiculous.
You’d imagine someone like Jalen Brunson wouldn’t demand that he be paid $937 for a picture. This might just have been an attempt to capitalize on all the success he has had recently.
Brunson ended the New York Knicks‘ 53-year title drought in 2026. He was crowned Finals MVP after powering the Knicks past the San Antonio Spurs in five games in the NBA Finals.
Brunson has become the king of New York now, and that price perhaps reflects that. His co-star Karl-Anthony Towns was at $338, and it cost $2,319 in total to take a picture with every Knicks player part of that championship team who was at the convention, according to Front Office Sports.

Going back to the original list, Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen being at $665 is perhaps a shocker, especially when Mike Tyson is down at $228. Tyson is, of course, a New Yorker, and somewhat of an icon in the area. You’d have expected him to be where Pippen was.
