Rookie Kevin Garnett vs. Celtics (1996)

Kevin Garnett's rookie season's best outing points-wise. His athleticism and length are just overwhelming for the small forward position as he leaps and dunks his way to these 33 points. You can't discredit the young man's basketball IQ though. Some very well-timed passes in this game by the 19-year-old Garnett. March 27, 1996.

Kevin Garnett, who was taken fifth in this draft, is notable for being the first player in two decades to be selected straight out of high school, and will be a certain Basketball Hall of Fame inductee after retirement.

After spending 12 seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Garnett was traded to the Boston Celtics in a blockbuster trade in 2007 and he won a NBA Championship with Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo and Boston Celtics in the NBA Season 2007/08.
