Russell Westbrook: It's time for a beast to be unleashed!

They were one win close to the NBA Finals. After a big loss against the Warriors, Kevin Durant forsook Oklahoma City Thunder and after that, it seems that Thunder became a sinking ship. So, will the last captain abandon the ship or will he go down with the ship? Adrian Wojnarowski believes that he will stay in Oklahoma.

Woj went on Colin Cowherd’s radio show and said he likes Russell Westbrook’s chances of staying in Oklahoma City.

"I like Oklahoma City’s chances to keep Russell Westbrook. I really do. I don’t think he’s dying to leave there."

Russell is a different type of person, very divergent than Durant. He is more competitive and joining a super team like Durant will be a huge loss for him. He likes more to build a team around him and bring other superstars join him. Also, he doesn't give a s**t about what other people think. Just look how he dress. His dressing is very ridiculous and many people are making fun of him. But, he continues to dress like that not to be stubborn, it's because he likes his cloth and he will wear it no matter what. It's similar in the basketball world. He will do whatever he thinks is best for him and fighting together with Adams, Oladipo, Payne and Sabonis will be a huge challenge for Westbrook. And he will accept it. He is a fighter, not quieter.

This situation in Oklahoma reminds me of the Portland situation last year. LaMarcus Aldridge, first violin of the Trail Blazers, Robin Lopez, Wesley Matthews and Nicolas Batum left Portland. Only one man stayed. Damian Lillard, a rapper from Oakland. Together with CJ McCollum, Meyers Leonard, Al-Farouq Aminu, Mason Plumlee and others, they went to the Western Conference Semifinals. In a season where everyone predicts them to have between 20 and 25 wins, they won 44 games! CJ got a MIP award. Incredible season for the Trail Blazers.

Can OKC do something similar? They have potential and with Russell leading this group, it will be no surprise to see that next season.

"Victory is a thousand times sweeter when you're the underdog."

Remember this "the Beastbrook" and wild crew from Oklahoma! It's time for a beast to be unleashed.
