Ryan Anderson: Wizards, Rockets or Lakers?

Anderson MIP

Ryan Anderson had a very good last season. Averaging 17 PTS, 6REB he was a great role player for New Orleans Pelicans. He is a free agent this offseason, so where is going?

The first option is Washington Wizards. Firstly, Wizards were chasing KD, because he was born there and spend their his childhood. But, they realized that Durant is not looking for childhood friends and hometown, he wants championships as soon as possible. He wants to be remembered as an elite player with multiple rings on his hands. So they turned to Anderson. Ryan is also a great shooter, scored more than two threes per game in last season. If he comes to DC, he will be a first-team option for power forward. He will play with great assister John Wall which will lead to more open shots. I think that this a great team for him and this is also most probable place where he will go.

The second option is Los Angeles. The Lakers are in every deal this season. They have a huge cap space after the departure of Mamba. If they get Whiteside and Anderson that will be an excellent team, not a title contender, but a playoff contender for sure. Anderson can stretch the floor with his ability to drain a three easily. If these two trades happen Lakers can hope for the 17th banner in a couple of years.

The third option for Anderson is Houston Rockets. Rockets are going through some rough time. Dwight Howard left the Houston, they are having a couple of role players and James Harden, an elite attacking force. They need to rebuild the whole roster and they are also looking for many players. They can’t acquire some home runs this offseason, but a player like Ryan will be a bounty for Rockets. Of course, Anderson coming to H-Town will unload Harden a little, because he is the main point guard of this team.
