Everyone has nightmares, but through life, we are trying to beat them. It’s tough, but we have to try because they are part of us.

“Your nightmares follow you like a shadow, forever.”

Stephen Curry is one of the best players in the league, but he is also a human being. He won the MVP award twice in a row, and this year, he hasn't been having a great season like he usually does.

Last year, after 3-1, Golden State Warriors lost against Cleveland Cavaliers and we were all witnesses of many NBA memes, jokes and stuff like that.

Check Stephen Curry’s 3 worst nightmares.

After Kyrie Irving three point shot, Stephen Curry said:

“I still haven’t gotten over Game 7,” Curry told USA Today.

“That’s something that will stay with me pretty much forever, for good and bad reasons.

“Obviously you hated the feeling, but it’s also a motivator to come back even stronger and try not to have that feeling again.

“I’m at that point now where I can try to fuel any kind of terrible nightmares or thoughts about Game 7 into motivation for how I’m going to prepare myself for this year.”

Yeah, it was one of the best highlights in the NBA history and Curry will always remember that shot. Irving hit a clutch shot and Cleveland won their first NBA Championship.

The Nightmare After Christmas

Stephen Curry is currently shooting 40% from the field, and 39% from the 3-point in the past 10 games. This season, his 3-point shot % is the lowest in his career. He has never shot below 42%.

Curry is averaging 24.1 points per game with 16.8 FGA because of Kevin Durant, but still I feel he isn't playing on the same level as he played last season when he was the first unanimous winner of 2015-16 Kia NBA MVP Award. He has to figure out how to play with Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson on the court. Against the Cavs, he scored only 15 points with 2-7 from downtown. Once again Irving was better with 25 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds and with the clutch shot on Klay Thompson.

“Honestly, I can’t have 11 shots,” Curry said. “I’ve got to get more looks at the rim. That’s nobody’s fault. I’ve just got to figure out a way to be more aggressive in that respect. And keep the defense honest and use all the talent we have on this team, including my scoring ability.”

 The Future as Nightmare

"Maybe nightmares choose you, but you can choose whether they will break you down or not."

He should find a way how to motivate himself again because he has only one NBA Championship and if he loses with this super team against LeBron James, they will be the biggest loser in NBA history. With Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, they have the best starting lineup in the NBA, but they must prove that on the court.

Last year, Stephen Curry lost 3-1, and if he repeats that once again, maybe he will be one of the biggest losers of the modern NBA era. LeBron James was also under the pressure when he played with the Heat, but he won two NBA Championships.

Now, Stephen Curry faces more pressure than LeBron James because he already lost 4-3 against the Cavs, and because he has the best team in the league.
