Over the last couple of weeks, Aaron Ramsey's move to Juventus was one of the worst kept secrets in the world.
Out-of-favour Ramsey was bound to make a move away from Arsenal for some time now, and it looks like he's finally going to compete for a title as he's keen to reinforce Italy's most dominant team.
La Vecchia Signora had been following the Welsh's footsteps for quite some time now, and the team has finally made Ramsey's transfer official on their website.
The midfielder has already signed a pre-contract that will keep him dressed in stripes for the next four seasons, starting July 1.
Ramsey is entering the last 6 months of his contract with Arsenal, which means he was free to negotiate with any team and agree to a zero-fee transfer if the Gunners weren't willing to offer him a new deal.
The Wales international had spent 11 years at North London before finally calling it quits, as his playing time kept taking a major downfall amid Unai Emery's arrival.
Following the news of his signing, the Gunners released a statement thanking Ramsey for his efforts over that 11-year span.
Moreover, the midfielder also used his social media to thank his fans for all of the support throughout his injury-riddled career.
"As you may have already heard, I have agreed on a pre-contract with Juventus football club. I wanted to issue a personal statement for all the Arsenal fans who have been extremely loyal and supportive. You welcomed me as a teenager and have been there for me through all the highs and lows I've encountered during my time at the club. It is with a heavy heart that I leave after 11 incredible years in North London. Thank you. I will continue to give the 100% and hope to finish the season strongly, before heading on to my next chapter in Turin," Ramsey wrote.
