Lucas Hernandez has already started his pitch to recruit Antoine Griezmann to German champions Bayern Munchen after joining the club on a very lucrative deal from Atletico Madrid.
Hernandez and Griezmann are also teammates on France's national team, so the center-back would be more than willing to welcome his compatriot with open arms at Allianz Arena:
"(Griezmann) is a big player and many clubs would like him. Of course, it would be great to have him here, although I do not know if the club are interested in him. I do not know if Barcelona would be perfect for him, but if there was a chance he could come here, he might become the best player in the world."They compete for the league every year and are always in the Champions League. Everyone in Italy, Spain, France and all of Europe sees and knows that" Hernandez claimed during a press conference.
Griezmann has already openly stated his desire to leave Atletico de Madrid in the summer and a move to Barcelona looked due, but as of today, interest between both parties has reportedly cooled off.
As a matter of fact, Atletico's officials even posted a statement regarding the situation and claiming offense to Josep Maria Bartomeu's comments regarding Griezmann's situation.
Manchester United were also reportedly interested in the Frenchman's services, but no formal bid has been submitted so far for him right now.
So, with Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery out of the team, there's certainly a lot of room for Griezmann to make his move to Germany, should he be interested in listening to his friend Lucas Hernandez.
Anyway, it's kind of crazy to think that a player as talented as Griezmann hasn't found a new home yet, but it's only a matter of time before he takes his talents out of Wanda Metropolitano.
