London is surely going to look quite differently next season, as Chelsea's superstar Eden Hazard is bound to complete his dream move to Real Madrid, according to most reports from England and Spain.
Hazard has been Chelsea's biggest star for almost a decade now, and Florentino Perez has been fond of his talents for some time, and it's just a matter of time before Los Blancos announce his signing.
Therefore, the Blues are well aware of the fact that they have a huge void to fill next season, and with all of the money Madrid are going to offload in order to acquire Hazard's services, they'd have plenty to spare in this upcoming transfer window.
So, according to The Mirror, Chelsea have identified Philippe Coutinho as their top target for the summer even despite the fact that they aren't even sure if Maurizio Sarri will stay as the team's head coach.
Coutinho was once one of the English Premier League's most prolific talents during his spell at Liverpool, but since he forced his way out of Anfield, it's all been downhill for the playmaker.
However, a return to England may be exactly what he needs to take his career back from the ground, especially looking ahead of the next World Cup, as he's allegedly fearful of losing his starting spot in Brazil's XI.
Coutinho is incredibly talented but has struggled to adapt to Barcelona and Ernesto Valverde's system, and the way their supporters have treated him have done little to put his struggles at ease.
Barcelona would actually lose money should they let him go right now, but they seem reluctant to give him another shot after his subpar performances throughout the entire campaign.
As for Chelsea, the team's coming off a victory in the UEFA Europa League final and have already secured the signing of Christian Pulisic, but adding Coutinho could only continue to strengthen him to face the post-Hazard era.
