Belgium Legend Urges Hazard To Leave Chelsea And Join Madrid

Emile Mpenza, a former Belgium international and country legend, has urged Eden Hazard to call it a day at Stamford Bridge and just pack his bags and move to Real Madrid right now.

According to Mpenza, Hazard has already outgrown the Blues and has already done everything he could at Chelsea, so he should look forward to joining Spanish giants in the summer.

"I think he wrote a page in Chelsea's history book and now he has to try to go somewhere else. A player always wants to move to another team to improve. Real Madrid won three Champions Leagues [in a row], and Hazard hasn't won it with Chelsea. If he wants to improve, he can go to Madrid to become stronger", Mpenza told Omnisport.

Hazard has put his contract talks on hold with Abramovich's team and with his deal set to expire in 2020, speculation starts to grow about the winger's future.

Moreover, Hazard himself has already stated that he's made up his mind and knows where he's going to play next season, even though he's yet to tell the media about it.

Hazard has been in Florentino Perez' radar since Zinedine Zidane was appointed as the team's manager, and the 28-year-old has taken some slight shots at the team suggesting he would be more than interested in joining Los Blancos.

Also, Thibaut Courtois, fellow Belgian and former Chelsea player has already completed a move to Santiago Bernabeu, something that may be enough to lure the winger to Spain's capital.
