The Gareth Bale saga has taken another major turn right now, as the Welshman continues to block his departure from Real Madrid and has even threatened the club to sue them due to unfair treatment.
Zinedine Zidane excluded Bale from some of Real Madrid's friendly matchups and has made it clear that he has no intention of using him as a part of the team's starting XI whatsoever.
Hence, the team was trying to find him a new home as not even Marco Asensio's injury was enough to convince Zidane to give him another chance with the first team.
However, it looks like there are no takers for Bale and his huge salary demands, as Los Blancos blocked his transfer to the Chinese Superleague and no other club in the world looked willing to absorb his huge wage.
That was until Real Madrid reportedly offered him as a part of a package to sign Neymar, as Paris Saint-Germain was allegedly tempted by the offer.
Nonetheless, now Bale refuses to be a part of this operation, as reported by Spanish outlet Sport. That bid also included James Rodriguez plus €100m for the Brazilian wantaway.
Bale and his agent claim he just wants to prove his worth and get some playing time, yet he's turned down a couple of moves away from the team, and he'll still be under contract until 2022.
A swap would be for the best interest of everybody involved, as James Rodriguez isn't a part of Zidane's plans either and is unlikely to log heavy minutes with Los Blancos going forward.
As for Neymar, he's still trying to force his way out of Paris Saint-Germain but the French champions refuse to lower their financial expectations for him, even after their supporters called him out and urged him to leave.
