Once the season came to an end, Neymar's relationship with Paris Saint-Germain was slowly getting worse by the day, up to the point where both sides can stand looking at each other right now.
Neymar, the club and their supporters have gone to war and there's no doubt his future lays outside of the Parc des Princes, but they haven't been able to find an offer that suits the French club's expectations.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have been working overtime to try and get him to come back to Spain, but the French champions refuse to lessen their financial expectations for him as they don't want to lose the money they invested to get him to move out of Barcelona in the first place.
So, with PSG's officials reluctant to take less money and not being interested in players like Philippe Coutinho or Ousmane Dembele, the ball is now on Real Madrid's court to make an offer that can sweeten his move out of France.
And according to Spanish outlet Sport, Los Blancos have deemed Vinicius Jr as a potential trade chip for Neymar Jr, even though the 19-year-old was allegedly off the table.
Los Blancos had allegedly offered Luka Modric and Gareth Bale first, but neither of those players accepted to be moved to Paris Saint-Germain and they were forced to dig deep on their assets to try and find a deal that suits both parties.
It looks like Zinedine Zidane is keen to land Neymar at all costs and rumors claim his situation could be solved in less than 48 hours, as there's just no chance he'll ever wear PSG's kit again.
Moreover, with Zidane reportedly wary about Luka Jovic and looking to send him away on a loan, Neymar could be Madrid's missing piece to go back to European domination.
