Cristiano Ronaldo keeps increasing its legend, as the Portuguese striker has made history once again in his successful career. Last week it was Lionel Messi who made history with his 35th hat trick in La Liga history, but now Ronaldo has proven he’s not less than the Argentinian star.
On Sunday, Juventus took on Udinese, beating the Little Zebras by 3-1. Cristiano scored two goals that put him on 11 goals for the season. This means he’s become the only player in Europe’s top five leagues to hit double figures in each of the last 15 seasons. Quite an impressive feat.
CR7 has been one of the rulers of football for the past 15 years alongside Messi and this is another proof of his greatness.
Besides his double, Leonardo Bonucci closed the game for Juventus at the end of the first half.
The former Real Madrid star wasn’t having the best moments with Juventus, with rumors suggesting he had troubles with boss Maurizio Sarri. Well, now all of that is part of the past, apparently.
This is an insane feat by anyone. The thing is Ronaldo and Messi have made the extraordinary something common for them thanks to their quality and superhuman talent, but that won’t last forever. As for now, we have to enjoy their games while they’re still around.
