Dejan Lovren shared a hilarious moment with Mohamed Salah following Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Manchester United. The defender took to Instagram to mock his teammate for his ‘mistakenly sent’ message.
Salah scored the second goal of the game in injury time at Anfield after Alisson wonderfully sent him up to beat David De Gea. With the result, Liverpool moved 16 points ahead at the top of the Premier League table.
The Egyptian forward celebrated by taking his shirt off and teammate Lovren joked with him on WhatsApp at the full-time whistle.
Lovren captioned the post with: "What the writer wanted to say. That he is strong? Body fat? Muscles? Goal? Never mind it was only a 'mistake'. Well done boys today."
This is not the first time we see the center-back doing this. Back in September he joked with Salah about his physique and wanting to show it off.
The duo are very good friends off the pitch and they’re often messing with one another on social media. This is the chemistry that’s taken Liverpool to lead the Premier League without any competition.
The Reds continue their quest to win the trophy for the first time in their history and their victory over United put them a little closer to their goal.
