Chelsea's Desperate Move To Keep Eden Hazard

If you're a Chelsea fan, you must be really sad about Eden Hazard's departure, as all signs point towards the 28-year-old ready to make a move out of the team in the summer.

The Belgian striker has been a Real Madrid target for quite some long time, and with Zinedine Zidane's coming back to the team, Hazard has grown fond of the possibility of playing for the team he grew up rooting for.

That's why, even Hazard's teammates are trying to make everything they can to keep him on board, as he's the best player the team has had in over a decade and they just can't afford to lose him with the team set to serve a two-window transfer ban:

According to Sky Sports, David Luiz and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been trying to convince him for weeks, with Loftus-Cheek even begging him with a song:

"I've been singing that to his face, in the dressing room! I'm sure everyone at the club wants him to stay – players, fans, staff, management included. He's such a talent and a player who has contributed to the club massively over the last seven years, the titles he has helped the club win. Everyone has enjoyed watching him play over the past seven years. I'm sure the club thanked him for what he's done and if he does decide to move on then I wish him all the best," Loftus-Cheek told Sky Sports.

Luiz, on the other hand, claimed that even though he'd love Eden to stay at Stamford Bridge, he'd still respect his decision to leave, given the case:

"I want him to stay also, of course. He's a great player, I want him to play with the best. I think he has to decide."I decided for myself when I left Chelsea for PSG. It was not easy for me, but it was a decision I took at the moment because my contract was finished. I was trying to feel a different challenge, and everyone here was respecting that, so I just respect Eden also," Luiz concluded.

We'll have to wait and see, but it looks like Hazard is leaning towards leaving London and take the next step on his career.
