It didn't take long for Eden Hazard to steal most of the headlines since becoming a Real Madrid player, as even though pretty much every single Merengue supporter fan in the world was excited about his signing, but they may be having second thoughts right now.
The Belgian is one of the most talented players in the world right now and has the tough task to fill the void Cristiano Ronaldo left on the team when he completed his shocking move to Juventus a season ago, and he doesn't seem afraid by it and is keen to live up to the expectations.
However, that excess of confidence may have not suited very well at Real Madrid, as the winger hasn't even played a single minute with Los Blancos and his demands have already caused troubles in the locker room.
According to TalkSport, Hazard demanded the team to give him the number 10, which belongs to Croatian star Luka Modric, who categorically refused his request.
"I have been able to talk to Modric through (Mateo) Kovacic. I was joking when I asked him to lend me the No. 10. He said no, so I’ll have to find another number," Hazard told the media.
Modric, the reigning Ballon d'Or winner, has been a pivotal piece of the team's recent success and is also one of the most beloved players by Real Madrid supporters, let alone how vastly respected he is among the players.
Hazard is called to be Real Madrid's biggest star since Cristiano Ronaldo and he's got what it takes to step up and make a difference for Zinedine Zidane's team, but this one's definitely not the best way to start his tenure at Santiago Bernabeu.
Also, rumors point towards Hazard getting the number 7 that once belong to players like Butragueño, Raul, and Cristiano, so hopefully, he'll be able to live up to the task.
