Everton transfer policy hadn’t been the best in recent years, but last season the English side turned things around and made sure to acquire a very promising player that turned out to be one of the hottest strikers in the world right now. Richarlison landed in Goodison Park from Watford for £40 million and one year later the Toffees might be earning even more money out of him and his great moment.
In his first season with the team, the Brazilian striker netted 14 goals in 38 games across all competitions, something that served him to earn a call-up to Brazil's Copa America squad this summer. All his good performances this term made some of the biggest clubs in Europe turn their heads to Richarlison, who might be living his last days in Merseyside.
Nevertheless, if somebody wants to take his talents, they will have to disburse a big amount of money since Everton already valued Richarlison and put a bulky price on him, £100 million, according to The Sun. Clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid have been linked with the 22-year-old forward but now they’ll be forced to make an extra effort in order to land the former Fluminense asset.
Another team interested in Richarlison is Manchester United, which is looking desperately for a new striker after Romelu Lukaku’s disappointing 2018-19 season and all the exit rumors surrounding the Belgian. Something that plays in favor of Richarlison and a potential move to Old Trafford is the fact that he already knows the league and has proved to be a reliable scorer in England, but that’s exactly what happened with Lukaku a couple of years ago and look where he is now.
Anyway, whoever is thinking of making a move for Richarlison would have to pay big money for him and not all the teams interested in him right now can do that.
