The Paul Pogba summer saga was one of the biggest stories of the offseason, as even today we see people giving their takes on this matter. Pogba was heavily linked with a move away during the summer, but a deal was never materialized, with the Frenchman set to stay put in Manchester at least until next summer.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville claims everybody is aware that Pogba wants out of the club, but his controversial agent Mino Raiola makes things a lot harder for the World Cup winner. According to the former defender, Raiola is a ‘disgrace’ and the Red Devils shouldn’t do business with him.

“He wants to leave. He has made it clear.

“His agent is a disgrace and has been a disgrace all over Europe - not just for Manchester United. They must stop working with him,” he told Norwegian media outlet TV2.

Pogba's contract runs through 2021, but Raiola is actively trying to force a switch elsewhere.

“He doesn't have the values you want in your club," Neville added on Raiola.

“My opinion is that Manchester United need not negotiate with him. He will try to fix a transfer for his player, and will try to take part of the transfer sum himself. That's how he operates.

“For Manchester United, it’s devastating. He [Pogba] is one of the best and most famous players in the world, but every week there are new issues.

“There is always controversy. It's probably not his own fault, but the fact is that it is devastating for a club.

“That's why Sir Alex Ferguson was at times clinical when he got rid of players. They were devastating.

“In a football club, everyone has to go in the same direction.”

If there is someone who cares about Manchester, that’s Gary Neville. He has a point there, and he’s not the only one who thinks that way. The English defender just said what everybody’s thinking, but now we have to wait and see how Manchester are going to handle this whole situation.

Perhaps next year the midfielder will finally join Real Madrid after all the things that were said this summer.
