Jose Mourinho sure knows about ups and downs, as he's one of those coaches that can take a team to a championship one year and then leave them in the bottom half of the table the next one, so he knows his time is always about to be up wherever he goes.

So, there was a lot of speculation around him because of the fact that he decided to live in a hotel during his time coaching Manchester United, with people claiming he only viewed that job as something temporary and wasn't truly committed to the club.

Hence, now that Tottenham Hotspur are set to face his former club, 'The Special One' finally revealed why he didn't buy or rent an apartment in Manchester and chose to live in a hotel instead:

"You know how I would be unhappy? I would be unhappy if I was in a house on my own,"I would have to clean, I don't want. I would have to iron, I don't know how to. I would have to cook, I would cook fried eggs and sausages. That's the only thing I can do. I would be very unhappy. I lived in an amazing apartment, it was not a room. It was mine all the time.

It was not like after one week I had to leave. No, it was mine. I left everything there, I had my television, my books, my computer. It was a flat, with 'Bring me a caffe latte, please' or 'I don’t want to go down for dinner, bring my dinner up'. I was watching football or doing work with one of my assistants and I would ask: 'Bring us food'.I had everything, if I was in an apartment alone it would be much more difficult. I was fine, more than fine," Mourinho told the press, as quoted by Goal.

Apparently, Mourinho is not a fan of housekeeping as he is of watching this beautiful sport. So, you know, who can judge the man for this? I see no flaws in his logic.
