Maurizio Sarri is set to lead a boosted Juventus team hoping to win everything next season. La Vecchia Signora have already strengthened their squad this summer, but reports suggest that they aren’t done yet, and are in fact lining up for another major signing this offseason.

They have added plenty of figures this summer, with Gianluigi Buffon, Matthijs de Ligt, Merih Demiral, Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey and others finding their way to the Allianz Stadium. These players, added to the big ones the Zebras already had, are enough to maintain their domestic dominance, as well as placing a huge bid to finally win the Champions League trophy next season.

Nevertheless, Juve might not be finished with their business this summer. They are reportedly eyeing a marquee signing before the transfer deadline strikes on September 2, albeit all of that will depend on their potential outgoings to help balance the books and make some room for the incomings.

According to Tuttosport, the Serie A champions have identified three players as their targets ahead of the closure of the transfer window. Mauro Icardi, Federico Chiesa and Paul Pogba remain their ideal additions, but nothing is secured at this moment. The report also notes that both Icardi and Chiesa are valued at around €70 million, while Pogba would cost up to €150 million.

Having those prices in mind, it’s fair to say that a Pogba deal is the most difficult to make, and even more expensive than the other two combined. Plus, seeing how important the Frenchman is for his side and the fact that Manchester couldn’t get a replacement for him until January, that move doesn’t sound very likely right now.

On the other end, Icardi is trying to leave Inter after the arrival of Romelu Lukaku and Chiesa is willing to join Juve in an attempt to play for big things in the most important stages. One could say that pairing these two is the most realistic scenario for the Zebras at this very moment.

Nonetheless, Pogba is reluctant to discard a move away from Manchester, stating that a “question mark remains” over his future with the Red Devils, per The Guardian.

Juventus have had a very good offseason and adding one of these three guys would be the cherry on top.
