Juventus is bound to replace one Brazilian defender for another, as they eye a move for Real Madrid's Marcelo and would be willing to send Alex Sandro away in order to make room for the veteran full-back.
The Old Lady and Marcelo have allegedly shared some mutual interest ever since Cristiano Ronaldo completed a shocking move from Real Madrid to Turin, and it looks like Reguilon's surge at Santiago Bernabeu has made the Brazilian somewhat expendable.
That's why Alex Sandro is getting closer to Paris Saint-Germain, who would be willing to pay as much as €50m for the 28-year-old.
Sandro has excelled for La Vecchia Signora since completing a move from Porto in 2015, and while he isn't as prolific up front as Marcelo, his ability to create and facilitate for others would perfectly suit PSG's needs with Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and Neymar Jr as their gunmen.
Chelsea and Manchester United were also reportedly interested in his services, but it looks like the French side is currently the frontrunner to lure him in the summer, according to Spanish outlet AS.
As for Marcelo, the veteran fullback fell down on Santiago Solari's pecking order and he struggled to establish himself as a consistent part of the Argentinean's starting XI.
Even so, he was one of Zinedine Zidane's favorite players so he was clearly delighted when Florentino Perez appointed the Frenchman as their full-time boss following his earlier departure. However, Sergio Reguilon's performances have made the 22-year-old earn a starting spot for Los Blancos, and the Brazilian is not happy with the role he's having at Santiago Bernabeu right now.
Marcelo played a major role in Real Madrid's European success and he deserves to head out of the big door after 13 years in the club, and he's shown that he's still got a lot left on his tank.
