Liverpool will receive Manchester United this Sunday trying to continue their good moment in the Premier League. They will host their biggest rivals in a game that appears to be one to remember.
It is so important that LFC fans are reportedly planning a hostile welcome for Manchester United's coach on Sunday.
Officialliverpoolfan on Instagram are urging their fans to get to Anfield two hours before kick-off to welcome United's bus.
The post reads: "We are going for our first title in 30 years.
"Man Utd will want to stop us more than anyone else so we need to set the tone for the day and let them know we mean business."We all know how much these bus welcomes help. Bring pints, pyros and flags and let's show our arch rivals what this means!"
We can see in another post other occasions where teams received unnerving receptions when arriving on Merseyside.
The two most notable examples have come on Champions League nights, against Manchester City in 2018 and Barcelona last year.
They received a fine of £17,500 for the City incident, with fans throwing bottles through the windows and rendering the bus unusable.
Even though United aren’t going through the best moment, they are Liverpool’s biggest rival. This is a derby and of course, Reds fans will try to make sure they leave Anfield victorious. The two sides drew 1-1 at Old Trafford back in October, the only time Liverpool didn’t win a PL game this season.
