Liverpool are understood to be closing in on a huge kit manufacturing deal with Nike, after winning a court battle against current manufacturers New Balance. The Reds are happy with this result and so are their fans, who have taken social media to ask the board to try to make a move for one of the best players in Europe.

Plenty of supporters have flooded the internet asking the Reds to spend all that money they got on Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe, using the ‘#Mbappé2020’ hashtag. They are set to ink a £30m-a-year deal with Nike which will also see the team pocket a whopping 20% of all merchandise sales.

All this means Liverpool will have plenty of funds next year, but now the question is how they can spend that. Apparently, their fans have the answer, and that’s Kylian Mbappe, who has exceeded with his current side.

This summer transfer window wasn’t the most active for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who only spent £1.7m on youngster Sepp van den Berg. Obviously, this wasn’t seen with good eyes, but now things might be falling into place for the English giants.

Besides Mbappe, some fans have dared to ask for Jadon Sancho, as well, using a similar hashtag.

Liverpool have been linked with plenty of interesting names in recent times, but there is no way they can afford all these players. Luckily for them, the fans can settle with Mbappe and nobody else.

This could happen, yes, but they’ll need to step up if they want to lure the French striker away from Paris; maybe offering one asset of their star attacking trio could help them, but we don’t know what’s going to happen here.
