Liverpool fans almost wet their pants last night, as media claimed Mo Salah and Jurgen Klopp had gotten into a heated altercation that ended up with the Egyptian threatening to submit a transfer request at the club.
Spanish outlet AS reported the striker was bound to leave the club this summer because of this so-called high-profile clash.
All of this allegedly happened just hours before the highly-anticipated clash against Porto for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League's quarter-finals, with Liverpool fans completely in disbelief.
However, the team has reached out to Mirror Sport to dismiss all of this history, claiming it's both "nonsense" and "laughable", and categorically denying every single world the Spanish-based journal published.
Salah's also denied his client was somewhere close to being angry at Jurgen Klopp or Liverpool, and that, by no means, he was intending to hand out a transfer request to the Reds any time soon.
Following a minor dip in his form earlier in the season, the winger has been playing at his best once again, being one of the most prolific scorers in the world over the last couple of months, and he even scored again in Liverpool's 4-1 thrashing of Porto and has been a major part of Klopp's team Premier League run as well.
The 26-year-old has scored 19 goals in the Premier Leauge alone this season, and, while he hasn't been the scoring machine he was last year, he's still comfortably sitting at the top of the scorers' table with Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.
Should Salah indeed demand to be sold by the club, he'd have plenty of suitors lining up to make him quite a lucrative offer, but still, Sadio Mane is the one drawing most of the attention right now amid Real Madrid's interest in the Senegal international, as per different reports.
