Even though Liverpool have become one of the most terrifying clubs in the world since Jurgen Klopp took over, it looks like Mo Salah still isn't pleased with their roster right now.
So, with his former team-mate and great friend, Daniele De Rossi finally stepping aside from AS Roma, the Egypt international claimed it would be 'beautiful' for them to play side by side once again:
"He is a legend of the club and of Italian football, not just because he is a great friend of mine. I don't know what to say, I saw the game and the affection of the fans who saluted him. He made many sacrifices for his team, I would like to thank him. He is one of the best of which I have played with. Good luck in the future," Salah told Sky Sports Italia.
Salah had nothing but praise for De Rossi and when asked about the possibility of joining forces with him at Liverpool, he was clearly delighted by the idea, even though he acknowledged that it wouldn't be easy for them to sign him right now:
"It would be beautiful, but I don't know if it's possible. It would be pleasing for me to play with him again, he is an optimal player," he concluded.
De Rossi spent 18 years with AS Roma and become a true legend of the team, but he's well aware of the fact that he can no longer perform at the top of his abilities and that's why he's likely to make a move to the MLS, or even Argentinean giants Boca Juniors, according to the latest rumors.
As for Salah and his Liverpool, the team is definitely going to make a couple of signings in the summer to provide more depth to a roster that's already one of the best in the world, and they'll need Salah at his best if they intend to win the UEFA Champions League final vs. Tottenham.
