When Leicester City signed N'Golo Kante, the Frenchman made an instant impact and was one of the main contributors of their historic Championship run.
A year later, the same happened at Stamford Bridge when the midfielder joined Chelsea and took over the center of the pitch with authority.
Even so, it looks like the World Champion hasn't been the same as of late, mostly because of the way Maurizio Sarri has lined him up since the start of the season.
Even though, the Italian has no plans to move Kante back to his previous spot despite being a top-5 midfielder in the world and the growing pressure he's facing at London right now.
According to Sarri, Kante "can't push the ball forward quickly enough", and that's why he has to use him up front instead of letting him thrive in the center of the pitch as a defensive midfielder.
"In that position, I want a player able to move the ball very fast. This is not the best characteristic of N'Golo. N'Golo is very useful for us, but his one is not his best characteristic", Sarri told during a press confernce.
Jorginho has taken Kante's former spot but Chelsea's recent struggles to contain opposing sides have put a huge question mark over his head, still, Kante's not going to be moved, at least for the time being.
