Eden Hazard's relationship with his manager Maurizio Zarri has reached a point of no return, according to latest reports.
The Belgian hasn't been hesitant to show his desire to leave Chelsea and has even looked quite appealed by the possibility of finally completing a move to Real Madrid, the club that's had him on his radar for years.
So, even though Sarri would actually prefer to keep the standout winger, it looks like the Italian boss has told him that he has the green light to leave the club if that's what he wants, as per Sky Sports.
"Eden is 28. If he wants to go, I think he has to go. Of course, I hope the opposite, I hope he wants to stay here. He has the potential to be the best player in Europe at the moment."
Also, the 28-year-old has put his contract extension conversations on hold amid a supposed Real Madrid interest in signing him to fill Cristiano Ronaldo's shoes.
Also, Chelsea is currently sitting at the 5th spot of the Premier League table and are facing a huge risk of missing next years' UEFA Champions League, something that may wind up opening the door for a potential Hazard departure.
Hazard is one of the best players in the world but that's not the first time he's been on a manager's wrong side, as he's also had a harsh relationship with Jose Mourinho and even Antonio Conte.
Will this be the end of the Hazard era in Stamford Bridge? Will Real Madrid make the most of this opportunity and put an end to their recent struggles by signing yet another Galactico?
We'll just have to wait and see, but it looks like Hazard's days dressed in blue are numbered right now.
